Newick

Product Code: SC1010NK Collection Tag

In the heart of Sussex, Newick grew from a scattered medieval hamlet into a welcoming village clustered around Newick Green after the Second World War. Its 12th-century church, standing apart amid open fields, was built from the warm sand-rock quarried near nearby Founthill, a quiet testament to local craft and enduring character.

Newick Oak channels that same sense of place: quietly distinguished, rich with subtle depth. Each board of European Oak is brushed to lift the grain, then reactively stained to echo the honeyed stone and time-softened timbers of the village. A final oxidative oil finish locks in the softly burnished tones and offers lasting protection.

Offered in plank, herringbone, or chevron formats, with widths from 100 mm to 300 mm, lengths up to 3 m, and gradings from Select to Rustic B, Newick Oak gives designers the freedom to craft spaces that feel both tailored and timeless. Choose the slimmer cuts for an elegant rhythm or the wider boards for a calm, contemporary sweep; whichever you select, Newick Oak brings the heritage of Sussex and the artistry of Grace & Frasier beneath your feet.
